Christopher Rade Musulin just completed a ten-year term of service on the New Jersey Supreme Court Family Practice Committee. Chris was also reappointed to the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Executive Committee where he will serve as the Chair of the Bench Bar Relations Subcommittee. He will also continue serving on the Child Support Guidelines Taskforce and serve as the County Liaison between FLEC and the BCBA. Mr. Musulin has been reappointed as the Co-Chair of the Burlington County Family Law Committee for the 2023-2024 term.
Senior Associate Kimberly Greenfield was appointed to serve on the Non-Dissolution (FD) Committee of the Family Law Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

What is happening in January 2020 at Musulin Law Firm?
Christopher Rade Musulin, Esquire, is preparing to be Moderator for the upcoming March 25, 2020, Burlington County Bar Association’s, Family Law Section, Seminar on “The Intersection of Family Law with Immigration, Bankruptcy, Criminal, Tevis, Probate, and the IRS.”
, Esq., completed the two-day training program offered by New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education to mediate in domestic violence cases. Starting as a pilot program, mediation in domestic violence cases is now available statewide, and will permit parties, for the first time, to mediate financial issues where final restraining orders are in effect. The mediations will take place at the Courthouse, with significant protections and procedures mandated prior to participation in the program.

Latz of the Latz Negotiation Institute, a nationally known author and instructor on advanced negotiation skills. The all-day program was sponsored by the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Topics included ethics, designing offer-concession strategies, the use of timing during negotiations and impasse-breaking techniques.

Christopher Rade Musulin, Esquire, has been reappointed to the Supreme Court Family Practice Committee, his fourth term on the Committee. The Committee is responsible for drafting and revising Court Rules applicable to family law practice.
Christopher Rade Musulin, Esquire has been reappointed to the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Executive Committee (FLEC). He will serve as Liaison between FLEC and Burlington County, and also serve on the Child Support and Probation Legislation Sub-Committee. Chris is a long standing member of FLEC, returning after a brief sabbatical.

During January 2019, Christopher Rade Musulin, Esquire worked with the Burlington County Bar Association Bench/Bar Committee to update the list of experts for use in Burlington County, NJ, to assist lawyers and members of the bench in identifying qualified experts for use in matrimonial matters.
Christopher Rade Musulin, Esquire, completed his third two-year term on the Supreme Court Practice Committee, and has applied to serve a fourth term. The Supreme Court Practice Committee assists the judicial system in creating rules and procedures for use in the court system. These court rules deal with all facets of divorce practice: documents that you file, deadlines, and different procedures that are scheduled throughout a divorce.

The seminar included judges and financial professionals regarded as experts to elucidate new solutions to address the sea change associated with how matrimonial attorneys address the issue of alimony.

On November 11, 2013, at the New Jersey Law Center, Christopher Rade Musulin, Esquire., will be a Speaker with regard to the topic Family Support in a Military Divorce at the NJ ICLE seminar entitled “Hot Tips in Family Law: ‘Rules are made to be broken: exceptions, dissents and loopholes'” presented in cooperation with the NJSBA Family Law Section. The NJICLE website describes the presentation as follows:
“While all Family Part matters have common characteristics, every divorce, custody case, division of property or support action is unique because a family is involved. The proposed revisions include a modified award schedule and modifications to Paragraph 21, “Considerations in use of Child Support Guidelines.”

Christopher Rade Musulin, Esquire and Christina M. Groves, Esquire. co-authored and submitted for publication to the New Jersey Family Lawyer, a comprehensive article on the use of Protective Orders in matrimonial matters. The New Jersey Family Lawyer is the leading family law publication in New Jersey published by the New Jersey State Bar Association. Publication is expected in March 2011.
On February 16th, 2011, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., has organized and will serve as the moderator of the next Burlington County Bar Association Bench/Bar Family Law Seminar. The meeting will be held at the Burlington County Courts Facility in Mount Holly, New Jersey. The Seminar will address the following topics and more: Ending a Civil Union or Domestic Partnership, as well as Same-Sex Adoptions.
On February 15th, 2011, will be attending the next Family Law Executive Committee, New Jersey State Bar Association, as the Burlington County liaison to the state bar.
